Tomorrow is my last day of work for the summer! Can't wait! We are also off for another track weekend and being that we have a holiday next week, we will be camping for a few days after the meet. I do have some posts scheduled, however, lately my scheduled posts have not been posting, so my fingers are crossed. Otherwise I will have something next Tuesday night or Wednesday. Have a great weekend everyone.
OMG! If you don't know already Pink is my favorite color and so I am so over the moon with excitement right now. See why right here (scroll down to the bottom of the post). Let's just say I am tickled pink!
The 2 Sketches 4 You sketch this week. I used my new Tiffany's paper and sometimes you just 'need' to color so I pulled out an image that Sparkle sent to me. I love this Tilda, she is colored with copics and mounted on foam strips.
A sketch from Inspired Blueprints I did this page today to give to Jason when he gets home. It is kinda my father's day gift to him. He doesn't even know that I ordered this pic of him finishing a 10 K race (in about 42 minutes). When I find out the exact time I will write it on the journalling tag. Of course this also fits the OCC Star Challenge as well.
The Card Positioning Systems sketch for this week: For my card I also incorporated the Our Creative Corner Challenge (haven't done one in awhile), which was to include stars - so I pretty much stuck to the sketch! I cut the stars out of some pattern paper, one is mounted with foam strips.
I made a set of card using some of this weekends sketches and some new Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Paper. I will give it as a gift for a co-worker who helped me out a lot this year. All teapots are on foam strips. The sketch from Unscripted Sketches.
Here is my card for the Card Patterns Sketch this week. We are sponsered by Odd Bird Planet this week. You need to go and check out all of their goodies! This card was made using the Fairytale Kit and it is on sale!
Check out the Card Patterns site to see what the rest of the design team came up with, you won't be disappointed!
I used a sketch from the Got Sketch blog: I am starting to feel a bit of mojo finally! For the card I incorporated the 365 Card Challenge - say it with stripes. It gave me a chance to use the new Fancy Pants paper I had in the mail today from Lisa's Scrap Shack. Love this paper! The popsicle has been painted with Shimmerz and mounted with foam strips.
I was so looking forward to the weekend and on the downward slide to school ending. I did all of my report cards early so that they were done. We have a new system some of us here have tried out and well.... let's just say that I just found out after school today that all of my report cards are lost, gone into cyberspace somewhere! I can not really believe it. Let's just say I am so happy to have tried out the new system!
Here is this weeks Card Postitioning Systems sketch: Now I finally was able to get into my craft room. However, I am so exhausted the mojo just wasn't working for me. I did manage to pull this together for a co-worker who is retiring this year. The background piece (largest one) is repurposed packaging (from the sticker package)!
I was asked to be a Guest Designer for Inspirational Card Sketches for this week and next week! So exciting. This is the sketch. Be sure to check out the rest of the DT creations! I made this card for a little girl in my class. It is also for the 365 Card Challenge to include the word girl somewhere on the card, and make it very girly.
I decided to use the Card Pattern Sketch again as it worked perfectly for this card and gave me an excuse to use my new Making Memories paper! Pattern Paper and Die Cuts: Making Memories Cardstock: CTMH Ribbon: Michael's Punch: Martha Stewart gems: stash Cricut: Wild Card
We have been sponsered by My Graphico, which is a digital stamp/image company. They have some wonderful sets to choose from, they are affordable and they don't take up any storage space in your craft room! You should check them out!

The Card Positioning Systems sketch for this week: Some more yummalicious paper! I got this package today and it is the NEW Collage Press Paper (Sweet Shoppe). I just had to break into it, it is so YUMMY!
This is the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches this week: OMG have you seen the new paper from K & Company?!!! It is by Carolyn Gavin and I sooo.. LOVE it! There is a whole line of matching goodies (I was good and only got the paper pack and die cuts). The colors are so bright, cheery, fun and and the designs are fabulous!
I hope to get into my craft room soon! It was another track weekend, and it is report card time so play time for me is limited!
In the meantime, did you know that the fabulous CARDS magazine is also digital? It is and it is so affordable! It has to be one of the best magazines going. My favorites are the Scrapbook Trends and Cards. They also have some fabulous Idea magazines that they put out about 6 times per year. Here is a sample of one of the Mini Album 2008 Albums digital magazine.I suggest you check it out, you won't be disappointed!
We are off to Victoria for another track meet, but I wanted to make sure I made a card for the challenge as I have done every other one this week, so it would be my first week of completing all challenges! See there is a reason it is good to get up at 5:30 am! LOL Pattern Paper: Little Yellow Bicycle Stamps: CMTH Ribbon: CTMH punch: Marvy (the hearts are mounted on foam squares)
This is my first card as a Design Team Member for Card Patterns. Check out all of the DT creations and new sketch, some fabulous stuff! The sponser this week is Unity Stamps, wow is all I can say lots of goodies there!

I got this sketch from Jana's blog: Believe it or not I just took these pics a few hours ago! I just had to scrap them because I had this K & Company paper that was just perfect! I also incorporated the Scrapping Out Loud Challenge this week - to use Rub ons directly on a picture.
